Baby&Me Yoga (Postnatal Yoga)

Blackheath Yoga

Suitable from your 6 week check onwards until your little one is crawling.

Our Baby & Me Yoga class is a safe space for self care and relaxation for parents while also having fun with the little ones. As babies tend to have their own mind - crying, feeding and changing is absolutely expected in class. Each class will focus on mobilising and strengthening post birth and to create some time for self care in your busy day.

Our doors will open from 15 mins before class.

Mats, bouncers and props will be provided at the studio but please bring a blanket and toys for your mini yogi!

Buggy parking is available in our reception but you might find it easier to use a carrier for your little one as our studio is upstairs.

If you are coming with twins - please send us a quick email after booking to make sure we have everything set up twice for your munchkins!

Vinyasa Flow

Blackheath Yoga

Vinyasa, like all forms of physical yoga practice, originates from Hatha yoga. Vinyasa Flow links postures and breath together in a creative, flowing sequence. The beauty of this style of yoga lies in its variety, and each teacher brings their own unique style to the mat.

This class focuses on strength, balance and mobility in equal measures in a slow to medium paced flow. Expect to work hard, have fun and let go during relaxation at the end of class.

WORKSHOPS

Sunday 27th April 2-4pm

Stretch & Sketch- £35

Blackheath Yoga

Join me for a vinyasa flow yoga class and life drawing workshop.

This workshop consists of a 45-minute (beginner-friendly) vinyasa yoga class working through traditional warrior sequences as well as a structured vinyasa flow, then 60minutes of sketching our yoga model in various asanas. There will be a break between flow and setting up for our yoga life drawing.

Stretch and Sketch offers you the chance to try your hand at life drawing for the first time or continue to craft your inner sketcher if you already have a passion for drawing.

I will offer suggestions and helpful tips as to how to capture the shapes of the body and highlight key forms of the asana presented. No experience in yoga or drawing needed, all materials provided.

This workshop encourages you to be present, express yourself through movement as well as pointing pencil to paper showcasing a new form of releasing yourself and being in a meditative space.
